Everyone,
I am pleased to announce that Darlene Cardillo has been elected to the Board of Directors of TAEL effective January 1, 2007 and that Jim Faranda has accepted an invitation to join us as a representative. Jim is an old friend who has lots of experience in university organization, administration and management as well as grant writing experience.
So welcome aboard Darlene and Jim.
Other good news, we have been told that private donors have responded in a positive way and will be sending us checks after Jan.1. Looks like we will have a scholarship to present in May along with the Kuhmerker Award/prize.

I am so pleased to see this website and all you continue to do. It brings back the wonderful memories of my visit with the Chatham Educators in 1994. That trip truly enriched my life and someday I would love to return to Russia. I have also had the opportunity to host some of our Russian friends in my home on two different occasions. I hope the exchange will grow and flourish. Best wishes to all involved. Kathy
